After a successful season that landed just short of the conference tournament, the Warriors landed three players on this year's MCC All-Conference list.
Spenser Popinga (Sr-Hartland, WI) was the First-Team designated hitter. Popinga anchored the Warriors' lineup all season. He led the team batting .351 in conference with five doubles, one triple and three homers. Popinga also led the team in RBIs with 18 and boasted a .558 slugging percentage.
Jake Bews (Jr-Loomis, CA) batted .282, but carried a .526 slugging percentage, to earn him honorable mention. He tallied two doubles, four triples, three homeruns, and 12 RBIs. Bews also collected Gold Glove honors for his outstanding play in outfield. He had a .974 fielding percentage, with just one error on the season. He recorded 34 putouts and four assists.
Shaun McGuire (Sr-Bancroft, IA) also earned honorable mention. McGuire was the Warriors' workhorse all season. He made 10 appearances from the mound, pitching 63 innings. He finished with a 5-3 record and a 4.71 ERA.
