Head Men's Basketball Coach Nigel Jenkins has announced the signing of Joel Kukulu, a 6'7 center out of Rockland CC in New York.  In his freshman year, Kukulu averaged 15 points per game, shooting 55% from the floor.  He also snagged 12.6 rebounds per game, which was fifth in the nation.  After a solid start to his sophomore campaign, Kukulu incurred a season-ending injury.  He completed his time at Rockland CC averaging 15 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.

"Joel is big addition for our program. I was looking for a big guy to come in and make and impact and I believe he will. He will be able to give us a much needed inside presence offensively and defensively. His rebounding on both ends of the floor will go a long away with helping us achieve our goals," stated Coach Jenkins.
