
The Warriors took on Ottawa University at home on Sunday in non-conference play. The Braves opened up the scoring early with a shot from Joe Fitch at the 2:10 mark. Waldorf would knot it back up at 1-1 at 24:10 with a goal from Scott Hanson (Jr-Tacoma, WA) with an assist from Jorge-Lugo Arenas (Jr-Cheyenne, WY).
Ottawa bounced back just over a minute later with a goal from Ryan Wohlgemuth to give them the 2-1 advantage. Kyler Grimes-Hopkins tacked on another goal at 40:31 to put the Braves up 3-1.
Early in the second period Waldorf regained their momentum as Arenas provided the assist to Carlos Zungia's header to narrow the margin to 3-2. Daniel Minitti (Sr-Tacoma, WA) nailed the equalizer off a penalty kick at the 54:16 mark.
Ottawa's Grimes-Hopkins would score the deciding goal at 87:42 to take the 4-3 victory.
The Warriors are now 0-6 on the season and their next game will be Tuesday night at home against AIB.
