The Warriors gained their second win of the season at home on Thursday night. Waldorf had six shots in the first period, but the game remained scoreless into the second period. Senior Molly O'Brien (Aurora, CO) played a corner kick into the box for the Warriors. Cornell was unable to clear the ball, which allowed Kayla Hicks (Fr-Rockford, IL) to score the put-back goal. Waldorf had 12 shots in the second period, but Hicks' goal would be enough for the 1-0 victory.

Keeper, Kaylee Vitale (So-Las Vegas, NV) collected four saves in her 90 minutes in goal.

The Warriors move to 2-5-3 on the season. They will play host to Davenport University on Sunday at 2:00PM.
