Head Coach - 5th Season
Head Coach Paul Meyer enters his fifth season as the Head Volleyball Coach at Waldorf College.

During his team's first year, the Warriors overcame a slow start of only 5 wins out of 11 matches to rally with a 13-match winning streak. The streak found the Warriors losing only three sets and winning 11 of the matches, 3-0. The Warriors finished the year with a 22-9 overall record, and a 6-2 conference mark, earning them a tie for the Midwest Collegiate Conference Championship.

Before returning to Waldorf College in 2008, Meyer spent 19 years as a high school coach in Minnesota. During his high school coaching career, Meyer accumulated over 200 wins and was voted 8AAA Section Coach of the Year during his tenure at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School.

Coach Meyer began his volleyball career as an assistant at United South Central (Wells, MN) coaching under Hall of Fame Coach Pete Beckerman. After helping USC to a 2nd place finish at the Minnesota State Tournament, he moved on and started his  Head Coach coaching career at Alden-Conger (1993), Albert Lea (1994-1997), Luverne (1998), New Ulm (1999-2000), and finishing his high school career at Sauk Rapids (2001-2007)

Meyer has been a very active part of the volleyball community across the Midwest throughout his career. He has coached a variety of club teams including Granite City in St. Cloud, Minn.; Heartland in Monticello, Minn.; and his own club, The Warrior Volleyball Club, in Forest City. He has also been a yearly speaker at area coach's clinics including the Minnesota Coaches Association Clinic in the fall.

In the summer you will find Coach Meyer instructing numerous camps throughout the Midwest. In the past 2 years Meyer has either directed or assisted at over 20 camps and has worked at well over 150 during his career.

Meyer, who received his associate's degree at Waldorf College in 1987, attended Mankato State University, graduating in 1991 with a degree in physical education.

Assistant Coach - 2nd Season
Megan Theis begins her second season as an Assistant Coach for the Waldorf College Volleyball team.

Theis is a native of Shakopee, Minn.  She graduated from the University of Minnesota-Morris with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management.  While attending the University of Minnesota-Morris, Theis earned UMAC All-Conference honors in both her junior and senior seasons.

Prior to attending the University of Minnesota-Morris, Theis attended North Dakota State College of Science while earning her Liberal Arts Degree.  While attending NDSCS, Theis' team attended the National NJCAA Tournament in Arizona her freshman season.  In her sophomore season, Theis was named to the All-Conference Team.
