Assistant Coach - 1st Season
Kate McArthur, a native of Elkins, W. Va., is in her first season as the Assistant Coach for the women's soccer program at Waldorf College.
Before coming to Waldorf, McArthur gained coaching experience while working at the Valley Soccer Academy in West Virginia from 2005 to 2009. She was also a volunteer coach for Elkins High School during that time. For the past two seasons, McArthur was a Graduate Assistant at Bemidji State University where she helped coach the regionally ranked team to a 25-10-3 record and completed a Master of Science Degree in Sport Studies.
McArthur earned her Bachelor's degree from Davis and Elkins College where she also played soccer for four years. She was a four time All-Conference Player and was named the WVIAC Rookie of the Year in 2005.
McArthur also holds a NSCAA "National Diploma" and a USSF "D" License.
Head Coach - 1st Season
Casey Curoe is in her first season as the Women's Head Soccer Coach at Waldorf College.
Curoe was a four year collegiate soccer player for NCAA Division III team Cornell College. During her college career she was number one for assist in 2004 and Defender of the Year in 2007. In 2005 she started her soccer coaching career at Linn-Mar High School as a Varsity Assistant and then became the Head Varsity Soccer Coach in 2010 at Anamosa High School. While maintaining her soccer coaching career, in 2007 she began as an Athletic Recruiter and Sports Performance Coach at Velocity Sports Performance.
Curoe graduated from Cornell College in May 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. She currently resides in Forest City with her husband Cameron.
