Cameron Newsome almost single-handily led the Warriors into overtime. In Saturday's narrow 26-19 loss to the University of Jamestown, Newsome posted five tackles (four solo), one sack for -9 yards, one tackle for loss (-9 yards), and two key interceptions. One of these interceptions took place on a two-point conversion attempt. The 6-1 sophomore intercepted the ball and ran it the other way for two points.
In addition, Cameron Newsome led all receivers by 58 yards. He finished with 7 catches for 121 yards and a receiving TD in the loss to the University of Jamestown.
