Vasquez, Binversie, and Combs join list of men's wrestling National qualifiers

Gabe Vasquez (JR-El Paso, TX) advanced through the consolation brackets to earn shot at a third place finish.  Vasquez went up against #2 Ty Knowler of Grand View University.  Knowler won by major decision 11-1, to give Vasquez the fourth place finish and a spot at the National tournament.

 Brock Binversie (SO-Whitelaw, WI) worked his way through consolation matches to reach a battle for third place. Binversie lost by fall to Bradlee Carls of York College who is ranked in the top-ten. With his fourth place finish he qualified for Nationals.

Jacob Combs (SR-Whittemore, IA) also advanced to the third place match.  He faced Dylan Berg of Baker University who was ranked in the top-ten.  Combs won the tight match 3-1 to earn third place honors and a trip to Nationals.

Vasquez, Binversie, and Combs join Rashad Moss, Jeff Ohnemus, Kenny Pero, Bo Bettinson, Dillon Spates and Jeremy Padilla as National qualifiers.
