This week's Spotlight Athlete of the Weeks honors are being shared by Spenser Popinga and Shaun McGuire.

Popinga gained MCC Baseball Player of the Week honors after a strong week at the plate.  The designated hitter averaged .412 last week with seven hits in 17 at bats, including three doubles, a homerun and eight RBIs and a .765 slugging percentage.

McGuire a save and a win on Sunday against top-ranked St. Ambrose University.  He came on for the final inning in the Warriors comeback 15-13 victory and threw all nine innings in Sunday's regularly scheduled game.  In the win McGuire allowed 7 hits and struck out 5.
