Reid Ouse enters his first season as an assistant coach under Nigel Jenkins at Waldorf College.
Ouse comes to Waldorf College after a three-year stint at Bethel University (MN), where he helped lead the Royals to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference semi-finals, capping one of the biggest second-half comebacks in conference history. While at Bethel, Ouse led the program's recruiting effort, as well as managing the team's film exchange and summer basketball camps.
Prior to Bethel, Ouse spent two years at Northwestern College (MN), where the Eagles won the 2008 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference regular season and conference championship, clinching a tournament berth in the NCCAA National Tournament in Oakland City, Indiana.
During the summer, Ouse has spent his time coaching basketball camps for Waldorf College, University of Wisconsin, North Dakota State University, Bethel University, and the Hoosier School of Basketball out of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Additionally, he has spent time coaching for the Minnesota Heat and Minnesota Fury AAU basketball programs. In 2012 his Minnesota Fury 17U squad was ranked in the Top 10 in the state for most of the summer.
Ouse graduated from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in Fergus Falls, MN, where he was coached by his father. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bethel University in Media Communication. He is currently working towards completing his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Columbia Southern University. Ouse resides in Forest City.
