Coach Ritterbeck moved into the role as head coach for the Warrior men's soccer program in the spring of 2021 after serving as interim head coach since November of 2020. He joined the Warrior men’s soccer coaching staff in the summer of 2020.

Under Coach Ritterbeck's guidance as interim head coach in the spring of 2021, the Warriors went 1-3 with all three losses to Top-20 ranked programs. He also saw Antonio Coutinho earn All-Conference honors.

A graduate of Coker University (S.C.), Ritterbeck played four seasons as a goalkeeper for the NCAA Division II Cobras, then continued his playing career after college with the West Virginia Chaos of the USL League II.

Ritterbeck began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, spent last season as an assistant coach and the goalkeeper coach at Coker, and also served as the goalie coach for the past two years for the Florence (S.C.) Soccer Association.

Ritterbeck earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration his Master’s in Athletic Administration from Coker.

A native of Hilton Head Island, S.C., Ritterbeck holds a USSF D license and a USC Goalkeeper Level 2 license. He currently lives in Forest City, Iowa.
