The Bruins stepped into the Hanson Fieldhouse on Tuesday night to face a Waldorf squad looking to win their third game in five days. The inspired Warrior team, playing at home for the first time in over three weeks, jumped on Bellevue early and pulled out their third straight win in a thrilling 71-65 victory.

The Warriors were able to follow up their win on Friday night with a dramatic overtime victory 81-78, capping off the weekend sweep.

Three Warriors reached double-digits, including Kwamaine Johnson (Jr-Avondale, AZ) who recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards. However, the Mustangs would gain the early lead and hold until the final buzzer.

"We didn't finish well around the basket and against good teams you can't do that," stated head coach Nigel Jenkins. "They are ranked eleventh for a reason; they are a tough team."
