Coming off a high-scoring affair on Friday night, Waldorf made the two hour drive from York, Nebraska to Bellevue, Nebraska to face another fast-paced team in Bellevue University. Unfortunately, the outcome was the same, as Bellevue was able to use a late run to escape with a 70-55 victory.
The Waldorf Warriors made the trip to York, Nebraska Friday afternoon looking to knock off York College, the #1 team in the MCAC. The Warriors effort came up short, losing 96-82.
Waldorf hosted Haskell Indian Nations University on Saturday to complete their weekend conference series. Jordan Nelson (So-Neenah, WI) scored four points early to help the Warriors jump out to a 9-0 advantage.
The Waldorf men's basketball team hosted Central Christian Friday night, in hopes of improving their conference record to 5-2. The Warriors did just that, defeating a tough Central Christian team 75-60 in the Hanson Fieldhouse.
