BELLEVUE, Neb. – With the school record for wins in a season (16) since joining the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) under their belt in the regular season, the Waldorf Warrior men's basketball team began their "second" season as they kicked off Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference (MCAC) postseason play on Friday.

FOREST CITY – Timely perimeter shooting provided a late lift for York College in an 86-81 win over the Waldorf College men's basketball team on Saturday.

"They stepped up and knocked down shots and that's what it's about," Waldorf coach Nigel Jenkins said. "We got hurt by that and a lot of dribble-penetration."

FOREST CITY – Friday's win entered an accolade into the record books for the Waldorf College men's basketball team.

An 83-75 decision over Central Christian College (17-12) marked the 16th win of the season for the Warriors (16-8), setting a Waldorf school record for wins in a season since joining the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

CONWAY, Ark. – The Waldorf College men's basketball team is buying in to defensive intensity. For the second straight night, it worked to perfection for the Warriors in an 86-53 victory over Central Baptist College on Saturday.

"Defensively, we really got after them," Waldorf coach Nigel Jenkins said. "We made it very, very tough for them to get anything easy."
