The Warriors completed their weekend road trip with a stop in Conway, Arkansas to take on Central Baptist College. The Mustangs did their best to limit Waldorf's outside shooting, which resulted in extra looks for center, BreeAnn Hageman (Sr-Ossian, IA). She took advantage of the touches and racked up 25 points, while collecting 16 rebounds and five blocks.
The Waldorf women traveled to Bartlesville, Oklahoma this weekend to face off with the Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles. The Warriors surrendered their eight point half-time lead in the second half, falling to an inspired Eagle team 67-61.
After overcoming a double-digit deficit on Friday night, the Waldorf women's team was unable to overcome a fast start by the College of Saint Mary's, falling 87-48, who has now won 7 consecutive MCAC games.
The Waldorf women traveled to York College Friday afternoon and were in for a battle from the start. The Warriors were able to overcome an 11-point second-half deficit to post an 88-79 victory.
The Warriors' three-point shooting has carried them over tough competition this season and Saturday's matchup with Haskell was no different. Waldorf hosted Haskell Indian Nations University for their second MCAC matchup of the weekend. The tone was set early by the Warriors behind the perimeter shooting of Goli Tavassoli (Sr-Vacaville, CA).
