Waldorf D2 Hockey Signs Connor Edlund
FOREST CITY, Iowa - The Waldorf Warriors D2 Hockey team is excited to announce the addition of Connor Edlund for the 2025-26 season. Head Coach Sean Parker announced the signing of Edlund from Maple Grove, Minnesota. Connor comes to Waldorf after playing last season in junior hockey.
Edlund is a 5'10'' right-handed Forward, who has played and grown up in Minnesota and played this last season with the Austin Ice Bats in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL). In Connor's year of juniors, he played in 33 games. In those games with the Ice Bats, Connor had 2 goals and 32 penalty minutes.
"I'm excited to have Connor be a Warrior next season," said Waldorf Head Coach Sean Parker. "Connor is another gritty player we are building our roster with, guys that are always going to give it all they have and not quit no matter what. That's how we are going to win games at this level. He fits that perfectly. We have had a lot of visits with Connor, building a relationship with him to the point it was a great fit for him and the program. Connor will be a good addition who can help us with a 200-foot game as he can play at all ends of the ice. With his skating ability, he will be able to not only keep up with the pace of play but lead the way and set the tone for us every game. Can't wait to see what the future has for Connor here at Waldorf."
Please join us in welcoming Connor Edlund to the Warrior family!
