Waldorf D2 Hockey signs Ethan Maisonneuve
FOREST CITY, Iowa - The Waldorf Warriors D2 hockey team is excited to announce the addition of Ethan Maisonneuve for the 2025-26 season. Head Coach Sean Parker announced the signing of Maisonneuve from Cochrane, Alberta. Ethan comes to Waldorf after playing 3 seasons of junior hockey.
Maisonneuve is a 5'9'' Left-handed Forward. After High School, Ethan moved to junior hockey playing for the AMP Warriors in the Canadian-American Junior Hockey League (CAJHL) where he finished the season with 32 points in 40 games played. Ethan went on to play the next season in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) first with the Lake Tahoe Lakers where he played in 23 games then finished the year with the Seattle Totems, playing in 15 games and scoring 7 points. Ethan finished his last year of juniors in Seattle with the Totems, playing in 41 games with 20 points. He finished his junior career with 119 games played and 59 points.
"I'm really excited to have Ethan be a Warrior next year," said Waldorf Head Coach Sean Parker. "Ethan has that combination of skill and grit that we like to have in our players. If you look up Ethan's stats in juniors, the points jump out, but he also has snarl to his game when needed. His work ethic fits with the mentality of the room and what we stand by as a program. Ethan was a player I had my eye on going back to 2 seasons ago. When we were able to sit down and do a visit with him you, could really see his personality come out. Knowing his ability and now his character, we knew he would be the fit for us as a hockey program as well as a university. Can't wait to see what the future has for Ethan here at Waldorf."
Please join us in welcoming Ethan Maisonneuve to the Warrior family.
