Waldorf Men's XC run at Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic
ASHLAND, NE- The Waldorf Men's XC team ran at Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic held in Ashland, Nebraska for their last meet before conference championships.
This meet was able to highlight outstanding performances from Breyden Christensen who established a course PR with a time of 27:06.5 which was the fastest time ran by a Waldorf athlete in this course and 5th fastest all time. He also beat his PB by 19 seconds. Royce Rock also had a lifetime PR with a time of 32:21.2 which puts him at 3rd all time for this course and 12th in all freshman courses. Coach Janna Langrell was happy with their performances despite changing up the execution and leaning towards a more tactical race plan.
"Our two guys had a great day. This was Breyden's first time on the course and he looked strong and closed well. He continues to improve each race and always runs a smart race. Royce executed the race exactly how I asked him to. He looked great and was able to PR despite having been tasked with a more tactical race plan," stated Coach Janna Langrell.
The Warriors are set to run at the GPAC Conference Championships on Saturday, November 8th 2025.
