Women’s XC Takes Stride at Mount Marty Invite

YANKTON, SD- The Women's Cross Country team competed in the Lancer Cross Country Invitational October 21st. Here there were 35 athletes running- three being Warriors. The course measured as 6k, taking 23-33 minutes to complete. 

Danielle Wood (JR/ Howard Lake, MN) finished 13th overall with a time of 25:24.1. Miracle Tucker (FR/ Montevideo, MN) finished shortly after with a time of 26:20.7. The last Warrior to finish was Eliza McKown (SO/ Orono, MN) finishing just seconds after Tucker with a time of 26:54.1. 

"I was very happy with how our women performed this weekend. It was great to see how we ran against two other conference teams and we placed 3 ladies in the top 20 of the meet. The Warriors will hit the ground running next at the NSAA Cross Country Championships held in LaCrosse, WI on November 3rd.
