Waldorf Cheer Compete in Nebraska over the weekend
YORK, NE- Over the weekend, the Waldorf Warriors took on the York Crown Classic on Friday February 6th and the Concordia Cheer and Dance Invite on Saturday, February 7th. On Friday, the Warriors placed 10th out of 12 teams competing.
Northwestern came in first with a score of (86.58) followed by Friends (85.15), and Mid America Nazarene (78.45) being in the top 3. Doane came in fourth with a score of (78.22), Peru followed with a score of (76.25), Dordt came in sixth with (74.97), Benedictine took seventh with (72.48), followed by Concordia (67.85) and Sterling taking ninth (63.62). Waldorf came in tenth (61.52) followed by Hastings (60.60) and York with (34.70).
The Waldorf Warriors went back into action the next day in Seward, Nebraska for the Concordia Cheer & Dance Invite.
SEWARD, NE- On Saturday, February 7th, the Waldorf Warriors placed 8th with a score of 55.22.
Northwestern took first (83.37) followed by Mount Marty (78.18) and Concordia (77.00). In fourth came Midland (75.87), fifth MidAmerica Nazarene (74.88) and Benedictine in sixth with (74.65). Dordt came in seventh with a (72.33) followed by Waldorf in eighth with an overall score of (55.22).
The Waldorf Cheer team is set to compete again next weekend on Friday, February 13th & Saturday, February 14th in Orange City, Iowa for the Northwestern Invitational.
