Waldorf Cheer Compete at Northwestern Invitational
ORANGE CITY, IA- The Waldorf Cheer team competed over the weekend in Orange City, Iowa for the Northwestern Invitational on February 13th & 14th.
On Friday, Northwestern came in first with a score of (90.90) followed by Dickinson State (85.68), and Doane (84.97) being in the top 3. Midland came in fourth with a score of (78.83), Mount Marty followed with a score of (77.27), Dordt came in sixth with (76.27), Waldorf took seventh with (69.25), followed by Hastings (66.12), Concordia taking ninth (66.00) and York came in tenth (38.30).
On Saturday, Dickinson State took first (94.05) followed by Northwestern (90.52) and Doane (84.95). In fourth came Dordt (77.83), fifth Mount Marty (75.55) and Concordia in sixth with (70.80). Hastings came in seventh with a (68.13) followed by Waldorf in eighth (67.20) and York in ninth (38.63).
The Waldorf Warriors averaged a score of 68.23 for the 2 day competition and set a record high for most points scored in program history.
Looking ahead, the Waldorf Cheer team is set to compete again at Graceland University on Saturday, February 28th.
