Waldorf Shooting Sports Takes On ACUI/SCTP Nationals

SAN ANTONIO, Texas. - The Waldorf Shooting Sports team wrapped up its 2024-25 season at the ACUI/SCTP Clay Target Collegiate Championships. The squad faced off in the Division III Classic All Around. In the week-long event, the Warriors put up competitive numbers for Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays to finish 15th in the Division III Classic All-Around with a team total of 1,190 targets.

Fisher Nagel had a stellar performance, finishing Super Sporting only one target short of the Shoot-Off for a medal. Brianna Myers also showed off her skills throughout the National Championships, finishing 9th in Class C Skeet, with Jillian Kardoes trailing closely behind her at 11th place. Kardoes also finished 17th in Class B Doubles Trap.

The Warriors finished the 2024-25 season with a strong performance at the ACUI/SCTP Clay Target Collegiate Championship however, they are not satisfied. Coach Dean Mueller concluded the Championships by saying, "The team is looking forward to next year with plans to get at least two people on the medal stand."
