Waldorf Women’s Bowling places 2nd at MIBC
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – The Waldorf Women's Bowling team traveled to Council Bluffs for the Mid Iowa Bowling Conference this past weekend. Waldorf placed second in the 9-team event with a two-day score of 6537. Coe College won the team championship with Wartburg College coming in third.
Paige Harns had Waldorf's best five-game total. She placed 6th with a tournament average of 170.6 and a best game of 207. Madison Singleton placed 23rd with an average of 148.8 with her third game as her best with a score of 188.
"Paige Harns did a great job holding up the team score on day 1 on a demanding condition and earning herself a top 10 finish (6th). The women were a new team on day 2, made up a 107-pin deficit in the final three games, and earned another 2nd place tournament finish on the season," said head coach Kyle Swiderski.
The Warriors are back in action December 18-21 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
