Women's Bowling Takes 2nd at the MIBC Championships
WATERLOO, IA - The Warriors traveled to Waterloo, Iowa this past weekend in order to compete in the MIBC Championships. On Saturday, the women competed in a one day event that held 3 traditional games and 12 baker games. Each team therefore had 27 total scores. Overall, the women placed 4th in the event with a grand total of 4450 points. On Sunday, the women competed in the Conference Final Bracket Play. Through bracket play, the men finished in 2nd place out of 9 teams.
Waldorf's top bowler for the individual games was sophomore Destiny Reed. Reed placed 17th with an overall score of 517. Her best score was a 189 in her first game. Right behind her was sophomore Jadyn Collins. She placed 22nd with a grand total of 499 through three games. She averaged a score of 166.33 with her best game being her third with a score of 201. The women's Baker game totals were 614, 638, and 753.
The wommen will continue their season next weekend back in Waterloo at the Cedar Valley Event.
