Warriors Host Statesmen for Home Dual
FOREST CITY, IA – The Waldorf men's wrestling team made their debut at home for a Heart of America conference dual against the William Penn Statesmen. The Warriors got off to a strong start but were defeated 32-14.
125 lbs Baylen Smith (FR/Burns, WY) vs Dylan McConville
Smith won by fall at 0:24 over McConville, giving the Warriors 6 points.
133 lbs Malachi Wallway (FR/La Center, WA) vs Lane Scorpil
Scorpil defeated Wallway by a 10-7 decision, earning 3 points for William Penn.
141 lbs Shiwoko Shiwoko (FR/Tuscon, AZ) vs Hector Diaz
Shiwoko won by a close 10-9 decision over Diaz, adding 3 more points to Waldorf.

Aney defeated Okada by a 7-5 decision, to give the Statesmen 3 points.

Hargrove won by technical fall, 17-2 fall over Grell, adding five points for William Penn.

Due to a medical forfeit, the Warriors received 6 points and tied the game at 14-14.
