Waldorf University Warriors Secure Victory Over Eureka in Road Soccer Match
EUREKA, Illinois. In their third consecutive road contest, the Waldorf University Warriors women's soccer team clinched a 2-1 victory against Eureka at McKinzie Field on August 31, 2025. The match saw the Warriors fighting hard to improve their record in a close matchup.
The Waldorf University Warriors took an early lead, maintaining a score of 1-0 at halftime thanks to a formidable play by Paige Spatorico. The momentum continued into the second half, where Olivia Cross, assisted by Jamison Graham, scored the decisive game-winning goal.
Goalkeeper Mia Ramirez played a crucial role throughout the game, defending the Warriors' goal. The solid defense, coupled with effective strikes by Spatorico and Cross, ensured a victorious outcome for Waldorf. This win brings the Warriors' current record to 1-2-0 overall, with conference play yet to commence.
