Women's Wrestling Announces Mahoe as Assistant Coach
FOREST CITY, IA – The Waldorf women's wrestling team and head coach Tyreece Gilder is pleased to announce the hire of Allicia Mahoe as assistant coach.
"I'm excited to have Allicia be a part of our coaching staff. She has had success at every level of her wrestling career," Gilder stated. "Both the experience and the perspectives she brings will be extremely valuable to our program."
Mahoe comes to Forest City following a successful collegiate career at Schreiner University with being a three-time NCWWC National Qualifier and two time collegiate All-American.
"I am grateful for this opportunity, looking forward to this next chapter in the sprot of wrestling and excited to be a Warrior!" Mahoe stated.
Mahoe graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in English in May of 2023. She possesses experience in volunteer activities, having been involved in roles such as working/coaching at wrestling tournaments, assisting in Special Olympics games, and organizing social media efforts, to name a few.
The women's wrestling team will open their season at the Luther Hill Open at Simpson University on Saturday, November 4th at 9am.
