WWR-Waldorf Warriors at Missouri Valley

MARSHALL, MO.- In a compelling display of skill and determination, the Waldorf University Women's Wrestling Warriors showcased their prowess at the recent tournament held on November 22, 2025. The tournament was marked by notable individual performances, contributing to the team's impressive showing.

Among the standout athletes, Izzy Urban secured two victories by fall, ending the day with a 2-2 record. Alanis also made notable contributions by going 1-2, clinching her win through a decisive match. Further highlighting the Warriors' strength, Mackenzie Gilbert and Nicole Martens each triumphed by a technical fall in their first matches. Additionally, Neve Barragan, Niah Smith, Renee Miguel, and Skyler Bruno each won their bouts by fall, demonstrating the depth and talent within the Warriors' roster.

While not starting out strong, most of this events success took place in the second round where most of the warriors got their wins. Looking ahead, the Waldorf University Warriors are set to compete next at an event in Crete, Nebraska, on December 5, 2025. This upcoming event promises to be another opportunity for the Warriors to display their competitive spirit and wrestling skills.
