Men's Golf Places Second at Graceland Invite

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Waldorf men's golf team had a great showing in their first event of the spring, placing second at the Graceland Invitational on Friday. Saturday's scheduled play was cancelled due to poor weather, making this a one-day meet.

Waldorf (+47) was one stroke short of winning the team crown, placing just behind Hawkeye Community College (+46). Nine teams participated in the event, included a second team from Waldorf which finished in a tie for eighth place (+88). Two Warriors placed in the top five. Thomas Houdayer shot a 6-over-par 78 to place second overall. Tyler Clouse placed fifth with an 8-over-par 80.
