Waldorf Golf Ties for 8th at GPAC Championship
BEATRICE, Neb. - The Waldorf Warriors men's golf team concluded their season at the GPAC Championship held at Beatrice Country Club on Tuesday, April 22. The Warriors demonstrated a commendable performance, tying with Briar Cliff for the 8th place position with a combined team score of 490.
Thomas Houdayer led the team with an impressive score of 73, securing a spot in the top 20 individual players of the tournament, tying for 18th place. Other notable performances included Tyler Clause scoring 81, Braxton Tremain at 79, Carlos Filipczak with a close 78, and Keegan Bronson finishing at 80. The team's collective effort was particularly evident in the third round, where they posted their best team score of the event, 310.
With this tournament marking the final event of their season, the Warriors have shown consistent progress and resilience. The achievement at the GPAC Championship echoes their dedication and sets a hopeful tone for the upcoming seasons.
