Waldorf D1 Hockey signs Cole Schneider
FOREST CITY, Iowa - We are pleased to announce that Cole Schneider has confirmed his intention to attend Waldorf University in the Fall. Cole is coming to the Warriors after a two-year career in the NA3HL with the Badlands Sabres where he accumulated 33 points in two seasons. Prior to his junior career, Cole played three seasons for Bismarck High School in North Dakota. Cole, who calls Bismarck, ND home, is a rangy 6'3" and 180 pound forward that will add some size, grit and talent to the line-up. Head Coach Mike Heitkamp had this to say about Cole's game: "We are excited that Cole decided to become a Warrior. Cole skates well, has skill, and is willing to use his size in the gritty areas of the game. He is very capable of stepping in right away and being able to have an impact for us. His skill and size fit right in with the Waldorf brand of hockey. Cole has some upside to his game that we will assist him to develop." Cole will be wearing #19 for the Warriors next year.
