Waldorf Men's Hockey Cannot Capture Series Tying Win Against (7) Jamestown
ALBERT LEA, Minnesota. The Waldorf Men's Hockey team could not salvage a game in their second game of two against the (7) Jamestown Jimmies. The Jimmies secured a 6-1 victory on Saturday afternoon. After the first period, the Jimmies held a 2-0 lead and did not look back. In the second period, the Warriors would score their only goal on a power play by Cale Anderson. Liam Wallace and Dom Toews would get the assists for this goal. Jamestown would score 4 unanswered goals to round out the scoring, leading to the 6-1 loss for the Warriors.
On the defensive side for the Warriors, Andrew Tworkowski would save 57 shots, many of those being high pressure shots as the Warriors were battling multiple penalties throughout the game. The Warriors will play another two game series against (7) Jamestown next weekend, this time in Jamestown, ND.
