Warriors Dominate in Second Game with Ducks
ALBERT LEA, Minn. - The Warriors earned a split with the University of Oregon by scoring 4 power play goals on the way to a 6-1 win on Saturday afternoon. Cale Anderson, playing in his 101st collegiate game, would bury the first goal of the afternoon from a nice set up by Dominic Toews. Zak Molstad would extend the lead with another power play goal with assists going to Gunnar Vignaroli and goaltender Andrew Tworkowski. Jaden Aguilera would extend the lead to 3-0 with assists to Luke Nemeth and Arturas Laurynavichus.
Early in the second period, the Ducks would get on the board to make it 3-1. Dom Toews would answer for the Warriors with Geoff Dick and Anderson assisting on the play. Anderson would add his second goal of the game, capitalizing on assists from Evan Koivunen and Jacob Patterson. Laurynavichus would finish up the scoring in the third period with a power play goal from Aguilera and Molstad. The Warriors would outshoot the Ducks 37-21. Tworkowski made 20 of 21 saves for the Warriors.
The Warriors will return to the ice after the Christmas Break on Friday, January 9, 2026 for a three game series at Central Oklahoma University.
