Waldorf Hockey Brings Home Two Wins on the Weekend
EDMOND, Okla. - The Warriors were able to win the three game series with University of Central Oklahoma Sunday afternoon with a 6-3 victory. The Warriors would head into the first period break with a 2-1 lead on goals from Cale Anderson and Arturas Laurynavichus. Audun Caple, Gunner Vignaroli, and Dominic Toews would add assists. The Warriors would lead 5-2 after two on goals from Jayden Aguilera, Geoff Dick, and Audun Caple. Laurynavichus and Dylan Carlson would add assists. The third period would see each team scoring a goal. The lone goal was scored by Aguilera with assists going to Zak Molstad and Laurynavichus. Andrew Tworkowski would make 39 saves on 42 shots. The Warriors will have a weekend off before traveling to Illinois State University for a two game series on Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24 with start times of 7pm and 6:10pm, respectively.
