Waldorf University D1 Hockey Finishes 3-0 Weekend with Win Over McKendree

ALBERT LEA, Minnesota. The Warriors were able to go 3-0 this weekend as they wrapped up the weekend with a 6-4 conference win over Mckendree University. Cole Dermott would tie the game with one of his three goals with a nice shot off the bar and in. Gunner Vignaroli and Art Laurynavichus would add the assists. Dermott would add his second goal short handed on a nice play from Geoff Dick and Jaden Aguilera. The first period would end 2-2.

Mckendree would take a lead in the second as they entered the third period. Mckendree went up 4-2. The next shift after the goal, Dermott would complete the hat trick off a tip from Kirill Konach, Art Laurynavichus would add a secondary assist. Under two minutes later Dom Toews would tie it up with assists going to Zak Molstad and Dylan Carlson. The Warriors would make it 6-4 as Zak Molstad scored a power play goal with assists to Art Laurynavichus and Jaden Aguilera. The Warriors scored two short handed goals and two power play goals in the win.

The Warriors improve their season record to 10-8-1. They will be off Thanksgiving week and will return to host the University of Oregon on December 5 and 6.
