Waldorf Secures Win over University of Central Oklahoma
EDMOND, Okla. - The Warriors were able to pull off a 4-2 win against University of Central Oklahoma Saturday evening. The Warriors jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Donovan Ascencio would continue lighting the lamp with his forth goal of the weekend assisted by Jaden Aguilera and Arturas Laurynavichus. The Warriors' second goal scored by Audun Caple with assists to Dominic Toews and Geoff Dick. It would be 3-1 after two periods when Zak Molstad scored with assists to Kirill Konach and Gunner Vignaroli. However, the Warriors would shut the door on UCO with a third period goal by Jacob Patterson assisted by Anderson and Gunner Vignaroli. Matt Loney would finish the game with 36 saves on 38 shots. This is Waldorf's first win in program history over UCO. The two teams will complete the three game series Sunday, January 11 at 12:30pm.
