Waldorf's Hickey Named to 2nd Team, Weston as Champion of Character

Waldorf's Hickey Named to 2nd Team, Weston as Champion of Character

DICKINSON, N.D. – The North Star Athletic Association announced its 2023 Softball All-Conference Teams, Gold Glove team, and postseason awards on Thursday evening. The awards recognition was held at the Biesiot Activities Center on the campus of Dickinson State.

Sophomore Brooke Hickey (Adel, IA) was selected to the Second Team All-Conference. Hickey is currently leading the team with 50 hits, eight home runs, and 28 runs with a .413 batting average.

Janessa Weston (SO/Salt Lake City, UT) was selected to represent Waldorf as the NSAA Champion of Character.

The Warriors begin conference tournament play today against Dickinson State at 6:30 p.m.
