Waldorf softball hires Patterson as new assistant coach

Waldorf softball hires Patterson as new assistant coach

FOREST CITY, Iowa - Waldorf head softball coach Justin Uhlenhopp announces the hiring of Cameryn Patterson as the new assistant coach for the 2025 season.

Patterson comes from Truman State University where she starred on the softball team for five years. Patterson was a two-time All-Great Lakes Valley Conference infielder. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science and a Master's in Leadership.

Waldorf softball will be a new member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference in 2025. In 2024, their last season in the North Star Athletic Association, Waldorf finished with an 8-15 conference mark and 10-29 overall record.
