D1 Hockey Dominates Steele County Blades
OWATONNA, MN- Waldorf was able to sneak by the Steele County Blades 5-2 in an exhibition game in Owatonna. The Warriors struck first short handed when Donovan Ascencio grabbed the puck on the left side and beat the Steele County goaltender with a low shot. Audun Caple scored the next two goals for the Warriors with assists going to Peyton Inks on the first goal and Zak Molstad and Dom Toews on the second goal. Matus Jonas buried Waldorfs fourth goal on a pretty play from Jayden Aguilera. Peyton Inks completed the scoring for the Warriors. Waldorf will complete the weekend tomorrow night as they play Dordt University in Mason City at 7pm.
