CANTON, MO - In the season-opening men's soccer contest on Friday, August 22, the Waldorf Warriors were defeated by the Culver-Stockton Wildcats with a final score of 8-0.
Culver-Stockton took the lead early in the match and maintained their aggressive play, concluding the first half with a 5-0 lead. The Wildcats added three more goals in the second half and won 8-0. The Warrior goalkeepers had 4 saves for the night.
Head coach Joseph Tibbs said, "We're disappointed with the result, but the team is resilient and embracing the process. We look forward to bouncing back Friday in St. Louis."
