YANKTON, SD- The Waldorf Warriors faced the Mount Marty Lancers in a road game and fell 4-1 in conference match.
Early moments in the first half, saw the Warriors playing defensively well until the Lancers were able to get a goal in. The Warriors held them 1-0 at half. Going into the 2nd half, Anthony Olivera slipped through their defensive line and was able to score a goal in a 1v1 against the goalkeeper keeping Waldorf in the game 1-1. Moments after, the Lancers scored off a penalty kick making the score 2-1 in favor of the Lancers. As the game went on and the intensity rose, the Lancers were able to slip another goal in. Ultimately, in the last minute and 43 seconds, Mount Marty scored their fourth which resulted in a win for the Lancers.
