FOREST CITY, IA- The Waldorf Warriors played a hard fought game against Briar Cliff but were unable to turn it around at half with a final score of 8-0.
In the first half, the Warriors were on their half with high hopes of getting that first goal but fell 1-0 to Briar Cliff early in the half. The Warriors held their grounds and did not concede any more goals that half keeping the score 1-0. In the second half, the Chargers came with a strong offensive attack and were able to score 7 goals in the second half. Despite the Warriors intentions to stay in the game and create chances up top, they were unable to get back in the game. The final score was 8-0 in favor of the Briar Cliff Chargers.
