Waldorf Men's Soccer Falls to Hesston College
HESSTON, Kan. - In a non-conference soccer matchup on Wednesday, the Waldorf University Warriors were defeated 4-1 by the Hesston College Larks.
The game kicked off with the Warriors taking an early lead. Ryder Tormaschy scored the first goal of the game at 5:19. However, the balance shifted later in the first half when Hesston scored an equalizer at 28:52, bringing the halftime score to a 1-1 draw.
Moving into the second half, the Larks escalated their offensive, putting three more goals past the Waldorf goalkeepers, finishing the game 4-1. Dickson Phoon, the Warriors' first-half goalie, made four saves. Samuel Borjon made five saves in the second half.
The Warriors face Concordia College, Moorhead on September 20 at 3pm in Moorhead, Minn.
