Waldorf University Men’s Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule
FOREST CITY, Iowa – Waldorf University Head Men's Soccer Coach Joseph Tibbs has announced the Warriors' 2026 schedule, an 18-match slate that features eight home contests and a challenging mix of non-conference opponents and GPAC play.
Entering his second season at the helm, Tibbs and the Warriors look to build upon a breakthrough 2025 campaign. Waldorf earned victories over two NCAA opponents and surpassed the program's win totals from each of the previous two seasons, signaling continued progress as the program enters the 2026 season.
"This schedule provides the right balance of challenge and opportunity," said Tibbs. "Our non-conference opponents will prepare us for the demands of GPAC play, and every match will provide an opportunity for our players to continue raising the standard of Waldorf Men's Soccer. We are excited to build on last season's progress and further advance our program."
The Warriors will begin their preseason preparations on August 15 with an exhibition match against NCAA Division II opponent Upper Iowa University before officially opening the regular season on August 22 against Emmaus University. Waldorf will also face NCAA Division III Luther College in a preseason scrimmage on August 23 as part of its preparation for the fall campaign.
Waldorf's home opener is set for August 29 when the Warriors welcome Calumet College of St. Joseph to Bolstorff Field. The Warriors will play eight matches at home in 2026, including non-conference contests against Rockford University and Culver-Stockton College before opening GPAC play in mid-September.
Conference play begins on September 19 when Waldorf hosts Mount Marty University. The Warriors will also welcome Dordt University, Doane University, Concordia University, and Morningside University to Forest City, while traveling to Hastings College, Northwestern College, Midland University, Dakota Wesleyan University, and Briar Cliff University during league play.
The 2026 GPAC Men's Soccer Tournament is scheduled to begin with quarterfinal matches on October 31, followed by the semifinals on November 6 and the championship match on November 10. The top teams in the conference standings will qualify for postseason play and compete for the conference's automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship.
All home matches will be played at Bolstorff Field on the campus of Waldorf University. Admission to all home soccer matches is free, and fans can watch every home contest live through the GPAC Network.
