YANKTON, S.D. - After a slow start in the first half, Waldorf struggled to keep up with Mount Marty as the Lancers came out on top with a final score of 93-51. The Lancers made a strong showing on both sides of the court, hitting key shots and forcing turnovers from the Warriors. Despite the loss, Brooke Dial still put up good numbers for the Warriors with 25 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. She also finished 100% from the free throw line.
"We really struggled today," Coach Shawn Chaffin said. "We looked really tired after a hard-fought win on Thursday night. No time to feel sorry for ourselves."
The Warriors return home to the Hanson Fieldhouse on Wednesday, January 8 at 6pm for a GPAC matchup with the #1 Dordt University Defenders.
