Warriors Fall Just Short in Final Non Conference Game
Forest City, IOWA
The Warriors battled hard with Mount Mercy for 40 minutes but came up just short, falling 67-62. After Mount Mercy established a 9 point lead at the end of the first quarter, Waldorf stormed back to tie the game entering halftime. The second half was played close, with neither team gaining much advantage, but the Mustangs were able to pull out the slim two possession win.
Waldorf was lead in scoring by Destiny Sao-Martinez with 14 points, but the entire starting lineup contributed, with Charlotte Mills adding 13 points, Cloey Dmytruk 12 points, while Mia Sao-Martinez and Jariah Riley both added 9 points for the Warriors.
The Warriors enter Christmas break and will return to action Tuesday, December 30th at #2 Dordt
