Waldorf Falls to #9 Dakota Wesleyan's Hot Shooting

The Warriors hosted the #9 ranked Tigers of Dakota Wesleyan on Wednesday. After a dominant first half from the Tigers, the Warriors found a streak of better effort and execution in the second half. No matter what the Warriors did the first half it seemed the Tigers could not miss from the field, shooting 29-40 from the field (72.5%). The second half saw much better effort to scramble and contest shots by the Warrior Defense, but the Tigers still shot 18-33 from the field for 54.5%.
Mia Sao-Martinez was the Warrior leader in scoring with 11 points on 3 made 3s. Jariah Riley scored 10.
The Warriors return to their home court on Saturday, February 14th against Doane University at 2pm.
