The Warriors hosted (RV) Hastings College on Wednesday. The Warriors played very well in the first quarter, as they went back and forth with several lead changes throughout the period. However, turnovers by the Warriors and quick scores by the Broncos allowed Hastings to grow a lead in the second quarter. The Warriors found more offensive success in the third, but more hot shooting from the Broncos was enough to keep the run at bay.
Cloey Dmytruk led the Warriors in scoring with 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, 5 of them offensive. Charlotte Mills added 22 points for the Warriors on 50% shooting. Jariah Riley scored 9.
The next game for the Waldorf will be Saturday January 10th as the Warriors travel to Crete Nebraska to face Doane University.
