FOREST CITY, Iowa – After a strong first half and entering halftime with the Doane Tigers ahead 17-12, the Warriors came out slow to start the third quarter. They weren't able to score enough to come back in the fourth quarter, and Doane University came away with the win, 78-56.
Brooke Dial had another successful offensive game with 22 points.
"Defensively we did enough things to give ourselves a chance to win, but offensively we struggled to find our rhythm. We did well taking away their leading scorer, who had 39 points on Wednesday. But a tough 3rd quarter put us behind the 8-ball."
Waldorf is back on the road on Wednesday, January 15 at 6pm in Sioux City, Iowa against Briar Cliff University.
