Warriors Fall in Season Opener at #7 Northwestern
Orange City, Iowa - On Saturday evening the Warriors kicked off the 2025 season with a loss at Conference Foe, #7 Northwestern.
The Red Raiders led by Quarterback Beau Bush(14-24, 222 Yards passing) jumped out to an early 9-0 lead over the Warriors. The Warrior defense showed some resilience early, with a blocked field goal by Warrior Junior Jadon Moore preventing Northwestern from extending their advantage further in the first quarter. By halftime, The Red Raiders had extended their lead to 23-0. The story wasn't much different in the second half, with Waldorf eventually falling 40-0.
For the Warriors, Senior receiver Jorge Rivera hauled in 4 catches for 51 yards. Defensively, Senior Linebacker Luke Beyer had 10 total tackles, including 7 solo tackles.
The Warriors will look to return to Bolstorff field this week in Forest City for their home opener -- September 6th, 2025 vs Mount Marty (Community Night)
