FOREST CITY, Iowa - The Waldorf University Warriors hosted the Mount Marty University Lancers for Community Night 2025. The Lancers won with a final score of 35-10 in Saturday's conference game.
Throughout the game, Waldorf's players faced a tough Mount Marty defense, but significant plays highlighted their efforts despite the loss. Anthony Tucker contributed with a touchdown and a total of 105 rushing yards, bringing some momentum back to the Warriors in the second half. Additionally, Connor Parker added a field goal to the score. Cordey Taylor aided the team with 43 rushing yards, and Christian Gerot shone on the defense with 7 tackles.
The Waldorf Warriors are back on the road for their next conference game against the Midland University Warriors on Saturday, September 13 in Fremont, Nebraska at 1pm.
